Breakfast

We take pride in our breakfasts. Some say the most important meal of the day. We use locally produced foods wherever possible, supporting the community and supplying you with fresh Devon goodness.

Breakfast is usually served between 08.15 and 09.15 in the conservatory but if you want to get up early or sleep in a little, just let us know and we will be happy to accomodate you.

Should the sun be shining brightly you may wish to start your day with breakfast on the patio, overlooking the tranquil East Lyn River as it tumbles to its meeting with the sea at the ancient smugglers harbor.!Lovely!

Terrace

Set above the tranquil East Lyn River, the terrace is the perfect place to sit and relax those weary legs and offers stunning views up the valley and down to the sea.

Sit and enjoy a drink from our licensed bar and watch the beauty of the river unfold, as dusk appears and the terrace is delicately floodlit, gloriously enhancing the natural beauty of this spectacular area

During the day, Snacks and lovely home made cream teas are available on the terrace. We are licensed too, so why not enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down over the sea! Lovely.

Supper

Our treasured guests advised us that light and early evening meals were what they often looked for. We listened and took their advice. Hence our Supper Menu, available to order between 16.30 and 18.30.

Early evening supper dishes are taken either in the conservatory, on the terrace or in the bar, where every effort is made to make your experience an enjoyable one

Warm weather permitting and if al-fresco appeals, you may wish to enjoy your meal on the river terrace. Just let us know!

We invite you to join us and other guests in our friendly bar.

There are a variety of books and magazines for you to read and various games for you to play. Or, chat with us and other guests and simply relax and unwind.

Chilly evening?.You'll find a welcoming fire there too!

The bar is open all day through until supper servings are finished. Feel free to order drinks to take out onto the terrace and pop in for an aperitif and a chat before going out to one of the local restaurants
